STEM Talent Programme

Wednesday 19 September 2018

The STEM Talent programme has been developed in partnership with the Reaching Wider Partnerships in Wales and The Open University Development Office. Through the programme, motivated and able Sixth Form students can study a range of university level modules, via distance learning, alongside their AS or A2 studies.

Students can choose from a number of science, engineering or mathematics focused modules. First Campus are offering students who meet the required criteria a bursary to enable them to study one of these Open University courses for free in autumn 2018. For students interested in studying a STEM subject at university, studying an Open University module can improve their ability in the subject and help them achieve greater exam success, as well as ensuring their UCAS application stands out from the rest.
