The course will build on the creative writing skills learned in the Introduction to Creative Writing Skills course, exploring, in greater depth, the aspects of imagination, confidence and perseverance to facilitate writing creatively.  This course will look at structure, genre and formats and help students to write in a number creative ways including short stories, novels, scripts and poems.

 Students will spend 7 weeks looking at everything needed to start a small business or social enterprise including business plans, profit margins and accounts.  Sharing ideas and work to help one another establish and grow viable business ideas for the local community.

The Child’s play course is the first of a suite of four level three courses for people interested in Psychology and Child Development. Child’s Play offers an introduction to the world of play and children’s development. Students on this course will look at how play is able to support and encourage development.  They will explore, practically, different stages and types of play and different theories of play. 

For pupils who have an interest or aptitude for computer science – problem solvers, critical thinkers and those who are just keen to find out more about what a future in the technology industry might look like.

Hay Festival is back on the road, thanks to Welsh Government funding, bringing the Scribblers Tour to school children across Wales.
