Project Description
An introduction to human anatomy for KS2 pupils, aimed at year 6. A university academic will visit the primary school to discuss and demonstrate a variety of anatomical models. These will be organised in to three or four stations and the pupils will move round in small groups to investigate each model. Afterwards there will be a question and answer session.
The models that will be demonstrated to pupils include:
Disarticulated whole skeleton
Cardiovascular system
Muscular system
Lungs and heart model
Skin model
Various skulls
