This project will give participants the opportunity to experience each stage of planning a themed afternoon tea.
Participants will work in groups to plan a menu, research recipes, write a budget, purchase locally sourced ingredients, design and dress the table, cook and prepare the menu, and serve the afternoon tea to invited guests at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
The project gives an insight into many aspects of the Hospitality and Events industry including budgeting, themed menu planning, marketing, food safety, food preparation and front of house skills.
Participants must be able to travel to Cardiff Metropolitan University each day
