Cyber Security Awareness Workshops

Project Description

First Campus is working alongside the School of Computing and Maths at the University of South Wales, to offer Cyber Security Workshops. The general theme of the workshops is ‘keeping yourself safe on the internet’ it highlights how easy it can be to give away information about yourself without realising it.  The workshops are suitable for all ages from Primary to Secondary and also parents and carers and can be tailored to cover a specific area/s. The workshop also enables participants to find out about possible careers and university courses in this area.

Cyber security – is seen by the UK Government as one of the four major national security threats facing the country. Staying safe online is important for individuals, companies and governments and currently there is a major shortage of experts.

If you would like to take part in future workshops, please register your interest.

Future workshops will run subject to funding, so registering does not guarantee a place. The workshop will enable participants to find out about possible careers and university courses.
