First Campus has launched its Summer Challenge – in partnership with Cardiff Council and Newport City Council. It has provided 3,600 guided activity packs for children who attend schools in disadvantaged areas of the cities. During the Summer holidays, some children experience social isolation and a lack of intellectual stimulation normally provided by school or family enrichment activities. Helped by a local distribution business, which volunteered its support, First Campus has ensured that 900 learners in our supported schools will not miss out this year.

Well I didn’t expect to be on an adventure course today!!
Was so pleased to visit @pencaerauprima1 today to see how they’re supporting children during the summer holidays through @WelshGovernment support. @cardiff_squadhttps://t.co/8f3pn4B2KU pic.twitter.com/87f7BnSqfU
