Cyber Security Workshop at Grangetown Hub

Monday 20 November 2017

Young children from Grangetown attended the Grangetown Community Hub to take part in a Cyber Security workshop.  The workshop was delivered by Stephen Biggs – Head of National Cyber Security Academy and students James John, Emma Derbi and Lisa Cornford.  This was the first Cyber Security workshop delivered for First Campus, but many more are planned.

The young children had a lot of fun as they learnt the important message about how to keep themselves safe on-line.  The children have taken away details of a national competition, which they can enter in association with their schools.  It was great to see mums and other family members at the session, showing that all ages can benefit from learning about cyber security.
