Child’s Play

Our Child’s Play courses are well underway around South East Wales. Have you thought about a career in childcare and not sure where to start?

In the words of some of our learners this term – they have their own reasons for taking part.

Debbie “…If I can learn, anyone can. I really love it when you get that ‘Yes you passed’ moment. I found school very difficult but now I love to learn, it’s helped me as a foster carer look after my child…”

Tracy “… I enjoy learning new things and yes it has definitely made me believe I could further my education.  In the past I didn’t think higher education was within my reach, but I really enjoyed the course and gained confidence…”

Megan “…While I was out of work, I heard about the course…I now work as a childcare assistant. I always enjoyed working with children so doing this course has boosted my confidence and helped me develop my knowledge, I am now looking into going to University…”

Hannah “…I was ill for two years and wanted to get back into work. This course has refreshed my memory and has made me happy to start learning again. So glad I found this course…”

Carrie “…the course has been really enjoyable. I’ve learnt a lot. I was only going to do this course as I didn’t think I’d have the time being a single parent with 3 young children, but it’s given me the incentive and confidence to carry on learning…”
