The First Campus Summer School at Cardiff Metropolitan University gives participants a chance to gain an insight into the opportunities available to study at Higher Education.
Songwriting and Production
Song Writing and Production workshops are run during school holidays to introduce young people to the skills involved in recording and mixing their own track in a professional environment.
Girls Football Festival
Girls’ Football Week runs from 23rd-27th April, 2018. Working with School and College Liaison and USW Sports, First Campus is hosting Girls’ Football Festival at USW Sports Park.
Able Radio Roots ‘Tackling Exam Stress’
Year 11 pupils work with Able Radio to put together a radio show that tackles the issue of exam stress.
Year 10 Mentoring
The Student Mentoring project has been established to provide help and support to identified pupils in secondary education.
GCSE Biology Workshop Series
The KS4 workshop series is designed to support learners studying the Double Science (Biology) or Biology GCSEs.
The Discovery Project is a scheme for young people with a diagnosis of ASD who are between the ages of 14 and 19 who aspire to go on to higher education
