Fashion Project – CWCHS
Cardiff West Community High School Year 9 pupils (25) will work with Ellen Hembrow from Fashion department at the University of South Wales to design and make a bomber jacket.
Travelling Ahead South East Forum
Travelling Ahead Wales Advice and Advocacy Service is part of the Welsh charity Tros Gynnal Plant. It is a project which works with young people and families from Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities to give them a voice about the things that matter to them and helps tackle hate crime and discrimination.
Raising the aspirations of learners is one of First Campus’ main purposes, however in order to raise the aspirations of learners, Higher Education first needs to be demystified. Inviting schools to attend campus visits and providing opportunities for learners to talk to Undergraduate students are an effective mechanism for achieving this.
Cyber Security Awareness Workshops
First Campus is working alongside the School of Computing and Maths at the University of South Wales, to offer Cyber Security Workshops.
CWCHS Ambition Project
To support transition and raise the aspirations of learners, year 7 pupils from the newly created Cardiff West Community High School (CWCHS) will work with Cardiff Metropolitan University and University of South Wales.
