First Campus is a partnership between higher education institutions, further education colleges and schools in South East Wales. Through collaboration we run a series of exciting and challenging activities for a wide cross section of pupils who are at key stages 2, 3 and 4. Our activities fully complement the curriculum, enrich studies, encourage participation and are enjoyable for all participants.

Bloodhound Challenge Test Day
Jan 16, 2012 Working on the Bloodhound Challenge, youngsters have designed a model car using CAD software, and machined the car using balsa wood. Building Listening Nov 29, 2011 First Campus at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama worked with 50 primary school pupils during their 'Building Listening' project. First Campus Summer School 2011 Oct 11, 2011 The First Campus Summer School gave pupils a taste of university life with film and animation training and a rock school. |

The First Campus and Hands on Science Projects are funded through the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales (HEFCW) and are part of the Reaching Wider initiative launched by the Welsh Assembly Government in 2002.
