Aberystwyth Summer School


79 Year 12 pupils from across Wales are attending the University of Wales, Aberystwyth Summer School over the next 6 weeks.

The pupils get to choose from a variety of different 'modules' to study in 2 week blocks, covering subjects such as Science, Maths, Computer Science and History. As well as less conventional subjects such as Forensic Science and Countryside Management and Conservation.

Hands on Science have provided funding for the Computer Science, Countryside Management and Forensic Science modules for this years summer school.

Pupils stay in Pantycelyn Halls of Residence for the duration of the course and are supervised by Student Leaders from the University who supervise social activities as well as help with the overall organisation of the event.
