The special launch day included a variety of opportunities for local children to participate in indoor football, gym, painting and street dance. Two dances were performed for visitors to the centre as part of the launch. The sports sessions are designed to provide on-the-doorstep opportunities for young people to attend in a fun and relaxed manner directly within their own community. Active Communities Blaenau Gwent aims to establish a minimum of 18 StreetGames venues offering multisport, multigame, street dance and street cheer by 2012. Follow this link to see the video. |
