Learning Coaches

The First Campus Initiative Learning Coaches is a joint project between the University of Glamorgan, Cardiff University, UWIC and the University of Wales, Newport. 

The Learning Coaches accreditation scheme is well under way and receiving excellent evaluations from those participating in the course.  Learning coaches will work with young people in schools and other learning environments to help them develop the skills they need to learn successfully.

Languagezone

The Cardiff University ‘Languagezone’ project has sites in Englsh, French, German, Welsh, Spanish and Italian.  The project aims to create a virtual community of language learners where pupils, university students and academic staff exchange information to create an online resource centre comprising newsletters, discussion groups and e-mail.
