More than 200 friends, family and supporters packed the club out to see the young people perform. Each band played three pieces, two set pieces and one of their own choice. There were also two soloists, Ellen James and Scott Hawtin, performing pieces by Joni Mitchell and Queen respectively. Below is a selection of comments made to Jane following the event; 'I would like to thank you and your colleagues for the fantastic opportunity you gave my two children recently at the Junior Rock Music Academy. They both enjoyed their time there very much and the gig at the end was fabulous for them and us. They were indeed sorry it all had to end!! Once again thank you very to all the people who gave their time to make the experience so memorable for them.' 'Just wanted to say thanks for all your efforts with the Junior Rock Academy. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed this experience every Saturday morning and is a bit sad it has ended. Nevertheless she has made some new friends and is enjoying her music more than ever. She also seems a more confident person for the experience. Please pass our thanks on to anyone else involved in the project.' 'I would just like to say a big THANK YOU for what you've done for my son's self esteem. He has thoroughly enjoyed his experience with the Rock school and last night was probably the best night of his life!! Thank you very much. If there is anything planned for the future please let me know!'
'I just wanted to congratulate you and your team. Last night was fantastic. |

All the bands were brilliant and the whole show superbly organised. It was a great experience for him that he couldn't have had at this age without this project. I hope that the project will continue and allow other kids to have this experience.'
