Dr Who Workshop at Gabalfa Community Education Centre

Parents and children attending a Dr Who themed activity week enjoyed creating their own Tardis from paper.

The Hands on Science workshop run on Friday 27th July got adults and childre to work together on designing and building a Tardis out of limited materials, thining about sciencetific aspects such as mateirals, communication devices and time travel!

The groups were challenged to design their own Tardis inspired by Dr Who, which had to include three 'special features' as well as being able to fit a person inside!

All the groups were successful in completing the challenge. Read more to see some of the designs!

The Science Date 3.0 Apr 12, 2011 On 5th April 2011 five scientists working in South East Wales came face-to-face with 60 pupils from local secondary schools at the third annual Science Date event at UWIC's Cyncoed Campus.
