Ahoy me hearties! First Campus at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama was pleased to present an exciting interactive concert experience in the stunning Dora Stoutzker Concert Hall at the College.

Sea Dogs is a concert with a difference. A “tail” of pirates and their pets, narrated by children’s poet and author Francesca Kay with music by Gareth Wood, it features a sing-along sea shanty for the audience to join in with, which they’ll practice in the hall before the concert starts.

The rehearsals were aimed at KS1 and KS2 pupils (ages 5 to 11).  Children from St Cuthbert’s Primary, St Fagan’s Primary, St Pauls Church In Wales Primary, Tredegarville, Kitchener, Moorland and Llanedeyrn Primary Schools attended in January and February this year.  The show will run again as part of  RWCMD’s  Explore! Children’s Festival in April.
